About All Coat Finishing
A family-owned finishing shop in Colorado Springs, coating production parts for manufacturers, fabricators and defense subcontractors for about 20 years.
All Coat Finishing is a family-owned finishing shop in Colorado Springs. We have been powder coating and painting metal parts here for about 20 years.
Most of what comes through our door is production work: batch runs of hundreds to thousands of parts, from small brackets up to large cabinets and long frames. We built the shop around that kind of work.
Who we work for
Our customers are businesses. Manufacturers and OEMs send us repeat part numbers. Fabrication and welding shops send us their finished weldments so they can ship a coated part. Defense primes and subcontractors send us parts with a specification flowed down from the contract. We do take smaller jobs, but the shop, the schedule and the pricing are set up for production runs.
What we do
- Powder coating with Cardinal powders on a batch line with rolling racks, powder booths and a large batch oven. See production powder coating.
- Liquid painting, including mil-spec and CARC work painted to the specification on your drawing or PO.
- Prep in-house: solvent wipe, multi-stage wash, outgassing pre-bake, masking, plugging and sanding.
- Partner work we manage for you: abrasive blasting and screen printing are done by trusted partners, quoted with your coating job, on one PO.
The numbers behind the line, like daily throughput and lead time, are on our capabilities page.
How we work with customers
After two decades, most of what we have learned comes down to three habits.
Straight answers on what a spec will take. We quote to the callout on your drawing or PO. A tougher specification costs more and sometimes takes longer, and we tell you that at quote time rather than after the parts are in. If something in the callout is unclear or missing, we ask. Our coating callout checklist lists what helps us quote it right the first time.
Realistic lead times. Standard jobs typically ship in about a week. When a job needs a custom color, a pre-bake, a second coat or partner work, we build that into the date we give you. A lead time is only useful if it holds.
Your quality requirements, followed. Parts are coated to the callout and packed for the trip back to you. On higher-volume programs we follow your QC procedure, and Certificates of Conformance are available on request.
The people
A finishing shop is only as good as the people hanging, masking, spraying and packing the parts. We are a family business, and our own crew does the prep and masking in-house, so the same shop that cleans and masks your parts also coats them. There is no hand-off to another vendor between those steps.
Quotes go to Mark. Email Mark@AllCoatFinishing.com or use the request-a-quote page, and he will come back with a price and a lead time.

Common questions
What part sizes and quantities fit your shop best?
Batch runs of hundreds to thousands of parts. Our batch oven takes parts up to roughly the size of a large cabinet or long frame, so send us the dimensions and we will confirm fit. Daily throughput runs from 500 to 2,000+ parts depending on part size and masking.
Who do I talk to about a quote?
Mark handles quotes. Send your drawing, quantity, material and coating callout through the request-a-quote page or by email to Mark@AllCoatFinishing.com, and he will come back with a price and a lead time.
Do you take small jobs?
Yes, with a small minimum charge. Our line and our pricing are set up for batches of hundreds to thousands of parts, so production work is where we give the best value.
Where are you located and what are your hours?
We are at 4205 High Country Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80907, open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Pickup and delivery to Denver and Pueblo are available by arrangement.
What if my program needs certifications you don't have?
Tell us at the start. We paint to the specification on your drawing or PO and follow your QC procedure, but we do not hold quality-system certifications or do certified lab testing. We would rather say so early than after your parts are on our racks.
